Has anyone tried painting on Alumacorr, or Dibond.  I am wondering if I sand lightly, then prime with Alkyd Primer.  Then if that sticks I should be able to use a 100% Acrylic Latex and Artists grade Acrylic paints to do an Illustration.

I have had good results with a variety of paints on aluminum composite panels, including aerosol paints. Most of the time scuffing and cleaning are not necessary if you paint right after removing the plastic protective film. I test my paint/primer on a scrap of material. After the test paint is dry, I apply a strip of Gorilla tape, pull it off at a 90 degree angle. If the paint stays put, you're in business. Hope this helps. Ken
