Graphics, panel and post wraps are all PVC board finished with Matthews Acrylic Polyurethane paint. The interior framework is square tubular aluminum by Mike and Jay Szczoczarz, Countryside Signs, Seekonk, Massachusetts. “We paint the faces and edges of the letters but leave the backs unfinished,” says Mike. “We cut a mask slightly smaller than the letters and apply that to the background, then finish the background and remove the mask. That leaves bare PVC on the background for us to bond the letters using PVC cement, and also serves as a guide to position the letters.”
