Little Havana is a Latin-inspired neighborhood of Miami, Florida, where one can immerse their senses with sights, sounds, and aromas of the rich culture. Included in the sights are the many unique signs, sculptures, and murals that adorn the streets. Calle Ocho (Southwest Eighth Street) is lined with restaurants, bakeries, cigar shops, rum bars, art galleries and gift shops that celebrate the Cuban culture.

The gallery of photos below illustrate the variety of subject matter, diversity of craftsmanship, and the full spectrum of colors—from muted to brilliant. Along with being a cool place to visit, it’s a gold mine of unique color combinations for sign layouts that you’ll want to explore.

Mike and Darla Jackson operate Golden Studios in Loveland, Colorado, and do a variety of sign-related projects. Mike’s website is www.goldenstudios.com. His email address is golden@goldenstudios.com. You can see more of Mike’s photos at www.tetonimages.com and www.goldenstudios.com.
