“What kind of signs do you make?”

It’s a question we are frequently asked. I’m sure you’ve heard it, too. Another popular variation of it is, “What exactly is it you guys do?”
When asked, I usually pause for some time. The person inquiring looks at me. And you can almost see them thinking, “What person needs to think before they can answer what they do for a living?”
It’s not that I don’t know. It’s just difficult to explain. Unless, of course, I tell them we literally do every kind of sign.
