Direct printing on aluminum composite material

We do a lot of direct printing of graphics on aluminum composite material before cutting out the shape. We direct print, mask with transfer tape, then cut it out on the router. Once it’s cut to shape, we clear coat it with MasterPro Refinishing 2K Clear. We’ve found that MaxMetal for Digital Printing brand aluminum composite material holds the ink well and doesn’t chip out when cutting to shape.
