If you are ever looking for a little vintage inspiration, take a walk through some of the car shows in your area! Auto designers, especially in the ’50s and ’60s, were creating attractive and memorable script emblems to adorn their company’s creations.

Of course, they weren’t all script. Even the serif and sans-serif emblems shared a similar creative flavor. I should mention finding these little design gems aren’t limited to the car shows. I photograph them on vehicles in parking lots, junk yards and museums, too.

Whether the emblems are on a spotless, restored vehicle at a car show or on a rusty old vehicle at a junk yard, I think these pieces of art have artistically stood the test of time!
