When Alex Kurakake walked into Los Angeles Trade Tech College in 2011, he was an almost-19-year-old graffiti artist and pizza shop employee with no idea what sign painting was all about. In the ten years that followed, he created his own very busy sign company that specialized in hand lettered graphics. This profile tells how he did it and shows plenty of his great-looking work.
