There’s much more going on in emblem-style graphics than a lot of airbrush work. Brian Schofield says that one of his secrets of airbrush work is to use it as little as possible.

“With the airbrush,” he says, “less is more. When I use it for a chrome effect, it’s about 25% of the work. The rest is sharpening up the sky and ground that’s done with a brush. You just want to use the airbrush for the blends.”
