When it’s time to redo a sign, it’s a great opportunity to make it more effective. Rob Cooper, Koh Tao, Thailand, has repainted many of his signs over his 25 years in business there and always uses the occasion to tweak and improve the layout.
With these 15 before-and-after photos Rob tells—and shows—how he did that. The photos show how even slight increases in negative space and contrast make the layouts easier to read and more powerful.
