You don’t need to go far “off the beaten path” in Bozeman to find neighborhoods which have both maintained their charm and been reborn into the modern era. The Cannery District and Northside both are just a few blocks in size but contain some of the best restaurants, shops, and interesting design in some of the most historic buildings in town. The Northside is home to the oldest remaining house in Bozeman, built in 1874.
There are plenty of interesting signs “Off-Main” on the side streets. Clean layouts, interesting panel shapes and cool finishing techniques, set the best ones apart.
Both the Northside and the Cannery District have been thoughtful in their development and improvements. Overall, both neighborhoods have kept the old Bozeman feel alive while inviting in modern upgrades that play to the existent infrastructure.
